How to use the Zone Editor

The Zone Editor lets you manage DNS records.

Steps

1. Log in to cPanel.
2. Go to the Domains section.
3. Click Zone Editor.
4. Click Manage next to your domain.
5. Click Add Record.
6. Select the type, for example A, CNAME, MX or TXT.
7. Enter the name and value.
8. Click Save Record.

Notes

• DNS changes can take a few hours to work everywhere.
• The Zone Editor controls your domain only if it uses our nameservers. To check, see Which nameservers or DNS settings to use in the Billing & Domains category.
