How to create an API token

API tokens let programs use cPanel without your password.

Steps

1. Log in to cPanel.
2. Go to the Security section.
3. Click Manage API Tokens.
4. Click Create.
5. Enter a name and an expiry date.
6. Click Create.
7. Copy the token now. You cannot see it again.

Notes

• Keep tokens secret. Delete tokens you do not use.
