How to password protect a folder

Directory Privacy asks for a password before a folder opens.

Steps

1. Log in to cPanel.
2. Go to the Security section.
3. Click Directory Privacy.
4. Click Edit next to the folder.
5. Select Password protect this directory, enter a name and click Save.
6. Create a user with a password.
7. Click Save.
